When I finally made it through the day, I sat there, 'confused' - should I go home? Where else could I go, if not home?

I drove as slowly as I could and thought of the many places I could 'stopover' before going home. Then it stuck me - my son had Group Tuition tonight; I could send him there. This could buy me some time away from home.

At the Tuition Centre, I met Nurul. She had brought my neigbor's son to class. She took the opportunity to introduce me to a bunch of LAW-ers (not lawyers). What are LAW-ers? Well... They are the Ladies Against Wanda. Each one seem to have an axe to grind with Wanda or some old score to settle. Each one of them took their chance to pour out their grievances; one of them actually gave me her number too!

I wonder if this was what I wanted? What started out as a second romance to me had suddenly turned into some kind of nightmare. As the women chattered, I tried to clear my thoughts. What did I want?

Before Wanda came into our lives, I was a happily married, family man. Then my wife got sick and one thing led to another; I ended up hiring Wanda.

"Transfer maid, many problems, Sir. One domestic helper said. "Yes," another coined in, "they buang by their Sir/Madam but cannot go home because utang. No choice"

"Sir, you want good maid, I introduce you." Another offered. Apparently one of her relatives was looking for a job and Singapore seemed like the promise land for them.

Time flew by pretty fast and I saw my son emerge from the classroom. He grimaced when he saw the bevy of maids around me. Thanking them for their inputs, I walked home with my son.

"What do they want?" my son asked, sounding somewhat impatient.

"Nothing, just idle talk. You know these maids; nosy parkers." I said.

"I don't like them. They like to bully Kakak, always asking her to borrow them money or ask her to do things for them."

"Lend them," I corrected my son, "It's 'lend', not 'borrow'." But I stopped short; wasn't really in the mood to explain things to my son. I was more interested in his story about the maids and Wanda.

"What things did they ask Wanda to do?" I asked my son.

"I don't know. Girls' stuff. Kakak never tell me but she always ask me 'Shh!'" He replied. Sometimes I tend to forget that my son was only in Primary School.

The rest of the night came and went quietly enough. I avoided Wanda most of the time. For one thing, I was unsure of my feelings; what was I supposed to think? How was I 'supposed to' feel? I had no right over Wanda; yet I feel all so affected when I hear stories about her. But, even if she did matter to me, what could I do? I was still legally married. Another part of me felt ashamed of my actions last night; technically I had just raped my maid. There was no foreplay There was no love-making. I just made used of my maid as a means to let off my pent up frustrations.

Then I heard a soft knock and my bedroom door creek open.

"Sir, you angry to me?" That was not the usual way she addressed me. I ignored her and pretended to sleep. There was silence and then I heard the soft closing 'click' of the door; she must have thought I was sleeping and left the room.

I opened my eyes and sat up. I was wrong.

There she was: kneeling in her bath robe, in front of the closed door. Her eyes lit up the moment she saw me got up. She used her forearm to rub away her tears.

"Sir, you no want me?" she asked.

I opened my mouth but no words came out.

"Sir, please, I don't know why you angry to me," she pleaded, "but I do everything to make you happy and want me again. Wanda only have you Sir and you are make me happy here and here." she pointed to her heart and then to her privates, "If you want to send me back, please memberi chance saya make you happy one last time. Then I go. Tolong Sir. Tolong."

From her kneeling position, she prostrated as she pleaded to me to give her another chance.

I felt my heart melt. More evidently, I felt an erection coming.

Hope you are also not offended by my comments; I am not asking you to take sides. Moreover, if anyone reads my disclaimer below, they would know that there is an element of fiction in my writing. I just want to thank you for your support (in writing) and also for appreciating my acronym (spent quite some time thinking of the name mainly because my maid's real name is not Wanda?)

They can go form a Anti-Serfly Society and zap me every day.

But, I feel that as long as there is somebody who wants to read my story means that he/she finds it entertaining; I should continue to write/post., right? :cool:
