Homo sapiens are complicated creatures; they like to complicate matters. I am married, I know it is wrong to get involved in another woman but I did it anyway. Since I have already chosen to be with Wanda, I should not have been swayed by my mother's words, doubt Wanda and treat her indifferently. Yet, now that things appear to be back to normal, I still can't forget what the bunch of maids said about Wanda; as they say, 'there's no smoke without fire'.

I decided to put the police skills that I learnt during my NS days to good use. On one hand, I will gather information from the 'nosey parker' maids, on the other hand, I will try to 'test water' with Wanda - compare notes and draw my own conclusions.

"That's just what I'll do!" I slapped my hand onto my thigh as I marvel at my own genius. Sherlock Holmes would be proud of me! With that thought in mind, I set my plans in motion. For starters, I will take over 'Tuition Class' duty; I will send my son to the tuition centre and hang around that area, gathering as much information as possible. My excuse to the people at home would be I wanted to take a walk (after dinner) and exercise a bit, get rid of the little belly fat.

Knowing that my son didn't like the 'other maids', I will ensure that I do not talk to them just before he enters the class and after class ends. I must give everybody the impression that I was using the 'waiting time' to jog or something 'constructive'.

Saturday was Grocery Day but as my son had just gotten a new iPhone, he preferred to stay at home to explore his new toy. My wife decided to stay behind with him as there were many errands to run that day and my wife felt it was not good to let my son stay at home for long periods of time without proper supervision. Moreover, exams were around the corner and someone had to be around to pry that iPhone away from his little hands before it became permanently glued to them. So, it was just Wanda and me doing the marketing. Wanda gave me a knowing look before heading to our main door. That little minx.

We acted 'normally' as we proceeded to the multi-storey car park just opposite our block; Wanda was pushing the market trolley in front of me as we walked towards the car. Along the way, we past by some familiar faces. I noticed Wanda smiling and nodding in the direction of Nurul and her gang but she was met with blank stares. As I walked slower, I got the chance to notice their reactions clearly and I did notice a few of them looking away in reciprocation to Wanda's actions. Their reaction towards me was starkly different; some of them smile while others greeted me with a "Hi Sir!" in return to my "Good Morning!" greeting.

When we were out of earshot, I expected Wanda to pass some comments about the unfair treatment she was subjected to but she said nothing. I locked the car and drove in the direction of the shopping mall. Once we put a distance between us and our neighbourhood, Wanda turned to look at me.

"Abang," she cooed, "I am miss your hard bone." Recently, I've been 'training' her to talk dirty to me; something which was taboo to my wife. She felt that 'talking dirty' degraded her. My wife associated 'dirty talk' to porno movies. I remember having to say good bye to my collection the day we moved into our matrimonial home.

"Sayang, what are you thinking? Are you not want to visit my cave?" she asked while rubbing my erection through my Bermuda shorts. Sensing my erection grow, she continued to entice me, "So long time you not suck my little mountains. They are missing you."

The moment the car came to a traffic light, Wanda practically threw herself at me. "Abang! Kasi saya. I want you!" For once, I was glad we had a long list of things to do. I slid my hand underneath her and I felt a dampness. Sweet!

Before I could proceed, I heard angry horns ring out behind me. The lights had turned green. Not wanting to give the car behind another excuse to blast his horn at me, I quickly accelerated away from the traffic junction.

As it was the weekend, I decided we could do our shopping at NTUC Warehouse Club. This was the second mistake I made; the first was listening to my friend, Fred's advice to sign up in the first place. The brands that they sold there were 'uncommon' brands; I didn't want to get a earful from my wife - why this brand, why not that packaging, etc. The only silver lining was that Wanda made the long drive more 'enjoyable'. She kept flashing at me; I almost had an accident while negotiating the bend along the PIE after Pasir Laba Camp.

My next thought was VivoCity; the Giant outlet* was one of the of the larger ones and we were sure to find whatever we wanted. Grocery shopping was like one of those US game shows, we practically run down aisle by aisle and loaded the shopping cart with items on the shopping list; the faster we got over this part of the itinerary, the more time we had to ourselves.

With the shopping aspect out of the way, we proceeded to the nature reserve just opposite VivoCity. After ensuring that the car was parked in a more shaded area (in case some of the grocery turned bad), we held hands like a pair of lovebirds and went off into Mount Faber Park.

Spotting a pavilion upfront, Wanda sprinted ahead and playfully hugged one of its wooden pillars, "Long time we no jalan-jalan, sayang!" She exclaimed, "I want more," she demanded cheekily before she stuck out her tongue.

She found herself a stone stool and she perched there. Looking seductively at me, she blew me a kiss and moved her hands to cup her perky little breasts. Then, she moved them slowly downwards to her groin. As if to give me a preview of what was to come, she began to slowly unbutton her clothes.

I felt something in my shorts stir. Wanda grinned, "you like?" she asked cheekily. I nodded furiously. This was the thing I loved about Wanda; her choice of underwear gave her this air of 'innocence'. It made me feel like a dirty old man lusting after her and I loved this feeling. It made me feel like a hunter feasting on his prey; it gave me a certain sense of 'power'. I went nearer to her and I noticed a stain on her panties. This must be caused by the wetness that I felt just now.

The area that we were at was rather deserted so she got bolder and started to unbutton further. She got up and presented herself to me, "You are liking what you seeing?" I gulped.

Looking at the magnificent creature before me, I rubbed my swollen member instinctively. I never expected my 'shy' Wanda to behave in such a way in public but I was not going to protest or stop her. We heard voices coming our way and I quickly went forth to help her 'cover up'.

As my bodies drew closer, she whispered in my ear, "Tonight I give my body to you, my husband." She didn't have to say it twice. Throwing caution to the wind, I pulled her towards me and forcefully kissed her. My action took her by surprise and I heard her yelp. We broke off our kiss after what seem like an eternity and then I heard those famous words, "Abang jahat!"

Mother dropped by to 'babysit' my son while the three of us went to the hospital. The therapy was taking a toll on my wife and she seem to have contracted bronchitis.

"Did you hear what they said about Wanda?" Mother asked.

I gave a sigh before I replied a "No".

"They said this girl is dressing more and more sexily. The clothes she wears are not maid clothes. They look more like those from one of those atas department shops. And the perfume she wears, I tell you; she's got 'come date me' sprayed all over her." Mother complained.

"The clothes that she wears are bought by me, Mother." my wife replied, "and the fragrance that you mentioned must be the body shower that we use. We don't allow her to apply make-up or spray perfume when she goes out, Mother. But we have noted your concerns and I will remind Wanda not to act in a brazen manner." my wife assured Mother.

During most of the conversation, Wanda was smart enough to make herself scarce. Only when she heard my wife start coughing again did she scurry back into the living room. Bowing her head low, she asked for permission to 'escort' my wife back to the study room.

"Your wife seems to be in bad shape." Mother said in a hushed tone.

"Yes, the doctors aren't that optimistic." I said grimly.

"So when she's gone, I suppose Wanda will be her replacement?" Mother's question shocked me. I stared at her with my mouth open.

"That was what happened at her last employment. She got 'promoted' from maid to mistress of the house. Why did you think her employers sent her away and replaced her with an older maid?"

I thought back to the excellent testimony that her previous employer gave. What a change in events?

"If I had accompanied you to the Maid Agency that day, you wouldn't have ended up with this maid. What's so good about her, anyway?" Again, Mother had got me speechless; I knew whatever reason I gave, she was sure to have a rebuttal. Apparently, Nurul and her gang had told her some additional stories about Wanda. This time around, instead of coming to Wanda's defense, I coaxed my mother to tell me more.

"Ibu, I need more solid evidence or the Maid Agent will not allow me to return the maid without expecting me to pay," I told Mother, "tell me more. I want to know." I said confidently.
