Re: What things must be ready before marriage?
A list of assets you acquired before marriage. A stock broking account where you no longer put money into or withdraw money from. Can trade and grow your money. A bank account for which no new money flows into. If there is a divorce, at least you can show these are assets acquired before marriage. Set up a living trust if you are super rich.
Then after marriage, set up a bank account, new trading account etc... if marriage never end in divorce, the assets here are yours to retire with.
