Actually it's a case of misunderstanding, the song by punch is ying(4) glua sia jia which is more pain than disappointment.

Whereas suteerak thought that it was ying(3) which is translated as female.

Let me this person who use "market/ butcher/ monger thai", rectify certain things here.

Suan Gern = is a song relating on how this guy love this girl but the girl love another man. Whatever this guy do for his girl never get appreciated because in his girl's heart lies another man and not him.

Reung Boon Tiang = stands for laze on bed. it is a song where the person loves a girl and not reciprocated. That is why to have that reciprocated feeling, he chose to wallow in his own dreams lazing on bed and not face reality.

Ying Gwaa Sia Jai = Ying Gwaa means More than, Sia Jai means Sadness. More than Sadness. Song is about how a girl saddened by the action of her boyfriend.

Rak Tae Du Lae Mai Dai = Love you but cannot take care of you.

Hope that those so-called who know thai using 'Scholar Thai' can come and correct my so-called low class Monger Thai, if any.

This is my plea to you, please give SBF and Suteerak especially a break with your directed personal attacks.

Most of us want to just come into certain threads to learn more about the Thai disco scene or just pick up a new Thai word or two. Everyone is learning, even Suteerak himself - so why do you put him down in that manner? You seem to take offence with every single thing he does, or people directly or indirectly involved with him.

There are some samsters that genuinely want to share and learn, if we make a mistake we ought to be corrected but not subjected to verbal written abuse on the forum.

I sincerely hope you share, if not my sentiments towards the forum, some consideration towards others

Yes you are right, Suteerak could have labelled it more refinely by classification of

1) Royal Thai
2) Formal Thai
3) Informal Thai

its only a very generic comment, for readers to discern what kind of thai they choose to subscribe... y do u have to take everything as being directed against u? y do u have to put the blood stained, self inflicted weapon in my hands & say that i'm the 1 who injured u??

The purpose of this truce is to share with each other what we can learn. I have no desire to put you or red_perrier into moderation, as everyone knows - these points count for nothing. If both sides want to carry on in this manner, i also can't do much...i'm just trying to have a ceasefire.

With regards to your second question, i do agree most of the time "khun suay" would be more than sufficient to acknowledge a woman's beauty.

End of the day, what form of Thai used is not important - what matters is the message is put across to receiver, agree?

Of course as i have mentioned, he (suteerak1099) could have used better classifiers in the form of "Formal" or "Informal" Thai, instead of "scholar" and "market".
