Totally agree. No point playing the "gifts game" as I can tell that, like me, you clearly draw the line in this game.

But do you tip like, a couple of tens or thereabouts, if you particularly enjoy the lesson?

No bro, strictly no tipping is my policy. Imo creates expectations for future visits and unnecessary baggage. It's just me. I show my support via frequent RTM if the ML fits my liking, and they can tell too coz they will see me 1 to 2 times per week, so long as timing fits their schedule. Based on own experience and hearsay from ML mouth (as usual, take it with a pinch of salt), frequent RTM customers are more likely to land a slot than modest amount tippers whom don't visit as frequent. And it makes perfect sense to me. But I do bring food and basic practical items at times.

Used to bring some cakes or finger food most of the time when visits MLs but not anymore.
As for tipping, unless the session is exceptionally good normally i'll give a couple of red,
more if gotten off menu items of course just to draw the line.
I'm have no issue of not tipping if MLs slacks during subsequent sessions.
